Room 1 Speech Finalists

Well done to Kayley, Tom, and Michael who will represent Auroa School at the Kaponga Speech Competition. The 3 students were not only the best in our class but they also were the top 3 speakers during the Room 1 and 2 speech finals. Good luck to all 3 students.

Today Room 1 began our classroom speeches. It was good to hear the variety of topics this year. Over the next week there will be some speeches uploaded to our blog.

Academic Day

Room 1 students were lucky enough to attend academic day at Mania primary school there were four activities such as the spelling bee,maths,literacy and general knowledge overall we came 2nd. We came 3rd in maths and literacy and 2nd in general knowledge. It was a great experience.
